What is the opportunity? RBC Global Asset Management (GAM) Investment Platforms team is looking for a DevOps Developer to deliver automation and monitoring solutions to support quantitative investment processes. You will implement a user-friendly dashboard integration tool, which will sync data across multiple platforms to improve application telemetry. What will you do?
Develop customized solutions to monitor application healthiness and propose ideas for application selfrecovery
Develop measures and metrics for evaluating and tracking impact and effectiveness
Work closely with enterprise technology partners for tooling integration
Own the change and release management for your projects
Identify opportunities for process improvements and use of automation
Promote innovative ideas to implement best practices and increase productivity
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience using GitHub for managing sourcing code
Experience with Agile & DevOps practices and common automation tools
Knowledge of containerization technologies
Knowledge of cloud technologies
