PIMCO is seeking a high performing, dynamic and energetic candidate for a leadership role on its Channel Marketing team. The position is responsible for the strategic direction of PIMCO's Edward Jones marketing efforts with the goal of driving engagement and marketing qualified leads to our sales partners. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader, strategic thinker and creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The VP, Edward Jones Channel Marketing Manager will report to the Head of U.S. GWM Channel Marketing, and will be part of PIMCO's Global Marketing organization.
This role may be based in Austin, TX, New York, NY, or Newport Beach, CA
Develop a comprehensive Edward Jones marketing strategy and 1-year, 3-year and 5-year marketing plans focused on accelerating business growth
Management of one associate focused on helping execute the strategic plan
Partner internally with PIMCO's senior Edward Jones business leaders to ensure integration and alignment across marketing, sales and strategic accounts efforts
Lead the effective deployment of a dedicated Edward Jones marketing and advertising budget
Establish productive relationships and feedback loops with key home office contacts at Edward Jones
Internal and external reporting related to PIMCO's Edward Jones marketing strategy, tactics and results
Deliver industry-leading, highly targeted and segmented marketing programs and partnerships focused on Edward Jones financial advisors and their clients
Build and maintain strong and impactful relationships with stakeholders across PIMCO's Edward Jones sales team
Manage stakeholder reporting and deliver actionable recommendations based on findings
Provide frequent updates to senior Marketing and GWM leadership
Present at large-format events attended by PIMCO's Edward Jones clients
Provide lead generation capabilities, identifying existing client & prospects, and nurturing leads through digital journey frameworks
Develop a rich understanding of PIMCO's product line-up and retail business to support strategic business objectives
Measure KPIs and ROI to quantify successes and qualify learnings
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
7 to 10 years of experience in financial services marketing with a focus on advisory brokerage and RIA clients
Previous experience working directly with Edward Jones in a marketing role
Ability to set strategy and lead execution of effective Marketing programming
