Based in their Sydney office, you will be part of the APAC head office and will be part of a newly created credit team and will work directly with the Head of the Australian Credit business. As a team you will work in close partnership with the Origination business and will have an external client facing role. You will assist in the execution of deals through credit analysis and support and will be able to interact directly with clients to ensure rigorous and comprehensive analysis is achieved. Key outcomes of the role will be to conduct counterparty credit assessment through analysing financial statements and data and recommending appropriate credit structures; to produce ongoing credit portfolio management work including both credit reviews and reporting and also assuming responsibility with Origination colleagues for the successful management of client relationships. Successful applicants will be tertiary qualified with 3-5 years experience post graduation in a credit role within a business, commercial or corporate banking environment and will have proven experience of preparing and presenting credit documents and papers. You will be a confident communicator who is looking to combine your credit role with exposure to clients and work for a global business in a non-bank environment. Occasional overseas travel will be involved in the role and applicants with additional language skills (eg. Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) will be well regarded.
