We are seeking a Mortgage Compliance Analyst to join our exciting Mortgage Advisory Services team in Lexington, MA.
The Mortgage Compliance Analyst reviews loan documentation to ascertain compliance with consumer financial protection regulations.
Other responsibilities include:
Compliance Review: Research of federal regulations including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and Truth in Lending Act. Review of mortgage loan documentation to assess compliance to consumer disclosure requirements of the property state. Administer fair lending assessments and comparative analyses. Use of software programs to test accuracy of truth in lending disclosures. May publish articles in the Bankers Advisorys newsletter - Compliance Monitor.
Client Service: Opportunity to work on-site at various banks in Massachusetts.
Continuing Education: Keeping abreast of the latest industry and regulatory compliance developments through ongoing formal and self-education. Periodically attend bank federation/association meetings.
Technical Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office products, Adobe, and internet applications is necessary.
