THE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: New Market & Securities Reference Data Process Specialist joining FRM/MRF (Market Reference Function) will be involved in overseeing market and static reference data for all business lines. The role is comprised of 5 main functions: Production Oversight of outsourced operations, Change the Bank, Stakeholder Management, Data Quality and Vendor Cost analysis. The main accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Act as a point of contact for US Product Reference Data production issues
Understand end-to-end data flow and functioning logic of the global Reference Data framework/Front-to-Back system architecture.
Oversee production issues/data quality exceptions and coordinate with reference data teams/vendor data providers for resolution.
Periodic review of procedures and control documents in alignment with the global governance framework.
Change the Bank
Initiate/Manage/Coordinate all strategic Product Reference Data initiatives with a focus on operational risk reduction
Manage vendor costs and propose strategic optimization strategies.
Work closely with Technology partners to automate and optimize manual processes/reduce operational/financial risk.
Manage/provide direction on key regulatory projects for US Product Reference Data.
Conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure open communication between business areas
Own the US project catalog/prioritize business initiatives
Provide periodic senior management/senior stakeholder updates for all Product Reference Data initiatives.
Oversee the production of weekly/monthly Reference Data KPI/KRI
Ensure DQ reporting is compliant with BCBS 239/SR 11-7 standards
Oversee/Manage Data Steward output on Critical Data Elements

Knowledge of Product Reference Data vendors/offerings Understanding of Product Reference Data control framework and familiarity with managing production teams/processes. Ability to initiate/collaborate on Product Reference Data process improvements Strong organizational skills; Strong presentation skills Microsoft Office products, BBG/Reuters/Broadridge application experience VBA and SQL knowledge preferred but not mandatory
Prior Work experience Required: At least 10 years of Security Reference Data experience Desired: At least 2 years working in Change the Bank/ BA Reference Data Managerial role
education Required: 4 year Bachelor of Science from an accredited Business School Languages Required: Fluent English
