Job Description We have an exciting high-profile role for a bright credit analyst who will be responsible for covering a portfolio of US community banks, regional banks and non-bank financial institutions. The successful candidate will provide impactful in-depth credit analysis on a portfolio of rated firms to ensure rating accuracy, build and manage effectively issuer relationships at the senior executive level, and actively participate in investor and media outreach.
The position also involves participation in Moody's conferences and roundtables, as well as third-party events, playing a pivotal role in raising the profile of the team and the broader Financial Institutions Group.
Analysts at Moody's develop in-depth sector and company knowledge and are directly responsible for developing and raising the profile of the team externally through thought-leading research, participation in conferences and boardroom interaction with issuers and investors.

Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned US community banks, regional banks and non-bank financial institutions and take thought leadership initiatives to enhance our analytics and high quality research impact
Perform and present in-depth fundamental credit analysis effectively and comprehensively on a regular basis at rating committees
Build and maintain high quality relationships with firms' senior management, intermediaries and other stakeholders
Write in-depth, high quality, insightful and focused research on credit trends, specific issuers or industry trends
Develop Moody's franchise through active interaction with intermediaries and participation to high profile events, such as third-party events
Coach and develop support analysts
Strong academic background at least equivalent to an MBA/CFA
5+ years of credit/risk assessment experience gained from a financial institution, asset management or public accounting firm, or proven equivalent
Understanding of US financial markets and regulatory environment
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing with some public speaking experience
Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills
Highly organised and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
