The client is a leading global investment manager with over USD 200bn AUM. It has offices in New York, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Shanghai. As an active investor in equities, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios, the client has established a solid reputation amongst its global clients. It manages assets on behalf of some of the world's largest blue-chip institutional investors. It also has an over-a-decade track record in investing in China.
To further develop the business in China, the client has set up the WFOE company in Shanghai and would like to hire a Head of Sales to drive the business development strategies.
The person will work closely with the Head of China to develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies. He/she will also work collaboratively with the teams in Hong Kong and other regions, in order to build and maintain a strong network of prospective investors.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the asset management industry, with good client relationships in China. He/she will have a proven sales track record of both institutional and wholesales of onshore and offshore products.
