We are working with a recently established Real Estate private equity investment firm to hire an Associate for their European Acquisitions team in London.
The firm was founded by an individual with an excellent track record in European Real Estate private equity and special situations and is backed by sovereign and institutional investors from Asia and the Middle East. They have already closed successful investments in Europe and are actively expanding their AUM.
They have a broad flexible pan-European investment strategy with returns targets ranging from Core to Opportunistic. Target investments include direct assets and portfolios, developments and corporate / platform deals in a wide range of sectors including office, logistics, industrial, student accommodation, residential and healthcare.
Working in a small deal team of six professionals, the Associate will be responsible for running acquisitions fairly independently, overseeing deal Analysis (will have Analyst support) and taking a lead on managing due diligence and execution processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for the strategic asset management of investments post-acquisition.
The firm has a very meritocratic culture and responsibility will only be capped by ability. They look for 'future leaders' in all the people they hire.
They are seeking to hire someone with around 4 to 5 years' experience and at least 1-2 years' experience in Real Estate private equity investing in Europe.
European language skills are welcomed but are not a requirement of the role.
