A rarely available Regulatory Reporting Trade Operations Change Analyst has become available at a leading top performing multi asset hedge fund in London.
The Regulatory Reporting Trade Operations Change Analyst will support the OTC Derivative, Fixed Income and Equities Regulatory Reporting Trade Operations business in a permanent capacity.
You will be accounting for all Regulatory Projects and deliverables pertaining to existing and forthcoming regulatory reporting requirements that impact all traded products and services. The Regulatory Reporting Operations Change Analyst will ensure the firm's alignment with industry regulation pertaining to MIFID, CFTC, EMIR, SFTR and ongoing external regulatory reporting requirements.
The hedge fund business in London has identified the need to hire a Regulatory Reporting Trade Operations Change Analyst to provide independent oversight, review and challenges across regulatory reporting trade operations control and risk framework for the FI / Equities, OTC Derivatives and Alternatives investment and trading business is fit for purpose. Working with Portfolio Managers, Trade Operations, Change Management and Compliance Senior Management to support the firm's external submissions to juridical regulators based in the UK and Europe.
Principal responsibilities - Regulatory Reporting Trade Operations Change Analyst:
Provide independent regulatory reporting assessment and advisory expertise across Regulatory requirements and impact on OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income and Equities traded products.
Accounting for new regulatory reporting regulations impacting trading, pre and post transaction reporting, best execution process and external regulatory reporting requirements. For example, SFTR and ongoing MIFID revisions.
Oversight of the QA / Controls and regulatory reporting framework, engaging with regulatory reporting business as usual teams to review current regulatory reporting process, controls, systems and producing detailed technical business analysis "As-Is" and "To-Be" and gaps across the current reporting framework.
Design and produce business solutions around improving electronic trade reporting process, systems, controls and present solutions to senior management for approval and implementation.
Work with IT and Central Change team to deliver improvements across the fund.
Produce Management Metrics and Dashboards to illustrate business performance and reporting status.
Update the firm's Policy and Control Framework for regulatory reporting ensuring check and balances are embedded to adhere to regulatory guidelines.
Lead and run governance workshops across the regulatory reporting business teams including Front Office, Trading Operations, Risk, Compliance, IT and Central Change Management.
Be hands on in undertaking business analysis and project management responsibilities and leading the front to back review and delivery of new reporting framework.
*Proven experience supporting Trade Operations Investment firms deliver Regulatory Reporting enhancements across the QA / Control Framework and managing end to end BAU Ops Projects;
* Subject Matter Expert within Regulatory Reporting requirements pertaining to MIFID, EMIR, CFTC, SFTR and other regulatory reporting guidelines relating to the Buy Side.
*Current experience implementing new control frameworks, reporting systems, procedures/processes and training for Regulatory Reporting within Investment and Asset Management.
*Strong product knowledge with detailed understanding across OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, Equities and Alternative Investments.
*Hands on project experience and skills; experience engaging with front office business teams, generating business documents and creating functional specifications.
* Working in project methodologies within Buy Side Investment Management.
* Delivery track record and ability to define process, controls and systems improvements relating to external regulatory reporting.
* Cross Functional business understanding, ideally supporting Regulatory Reporting in a Risk, Compliance or Finance capacity.
* Experience working with External IT Vendors providing trading and reporting systems.
