The team's remit encompasses all forms of business collaboration; from licensing and distribution agreements, franchises and minority stakes through to equity joint ventures - all of which results in a diverse range of engagements.
The main purpose of this role is to support the pursuit and conversion of opportunities and manage the day-to-day execution of projects for the team. Typical responsibilities will include:
Assuming responsibility for producing quality marketing and proposal materials for clients
Supporting the day-to-day execution of live projects and frequent direct liaison with clients
Participating in the delivery of client presentations – both BD and delivery
Analysing client documents – both financial and non-financial – and presenting clear concise findings and recommendations
Developing and maintaining client relationships
Skills & Experience:
Solid experience in a transaction consulting / M&A role, including some direct involvement in cross-border deals, ideally involving actual joint venture/ partnering transactions
Excellent interpersonal skills, with emphasis on active listening and rapport-building
Strong technical, written and verbal communication
Excellent knowledge of and competency in Microsoft Office software, especially PowerPoint and Excel, A consultative, thoughtful approach – knowing when to escalate and ask for counsel
Commercial acumen, combined with strong financial analytical skills
Fluency in at least one language other than English is not a requirement but would be an advantage
