Reporting to the Head of Corporate Marketing & Communications, EMEA & APAC, the Digital Marketing Manager will lead the EMEA digital marketing team within Northern Trust's Corporate Marketing function.
The role requires a digital first strategist with deep experience in B2B content transformation, user experience (UX) and marketing insight and data analytics. The right candidate must have detailed knowledge of industry trends and best-practice to deliver high-impact consulting, planning and project implementation to the wider business. The candidate must have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of digital strategists, experience designers and experience technologists. They must be able to show clear examples of how they have delivered digital marketing initiatives utilising design-led and agile methodologies, and possess a strong understanding of multi-media, marketing technologies, digital experience and customer engagement platforms, including Adobe's AEM and Marketo products.
Additional responsibilities include:
Managing the Corporate Marketing Digital Marketing function across EMEA & APAC.
Driving requirements for digital marketing technology to the Digital Marketing Operations Team based in Chicago, IL, USA. Lead adoption of marketing technology with staff based in EMEA and APAC.
Providing strategic consulting to Business Unit marketing teams on digital plans and priorities - and, in collaboration with corporate marketing specialists, build, execute & evaluate digital content programmes across all marketing and communications disciplines (media, comms, events).
Transforming, editing and optimising content for corporate, public website and social media channels, and work with Business Units and Corporate Marketing to deliver regional content that is optimised for an online experience.
Working with business unit marketing teams to optimise marketing campaigns for the digital world including measurable results with connection to Marketo programs.
Working with multi-media team to plan, shoot and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
Tracking and analysing website and campaign traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
Using metrics, evaluate and suggest improvements to the effectiveness of digital marketing components of communications and event management activities across the corporate marketing team in EMEA.
Helping to promote a data-driven culture within marketing and sales.
Conducting performance management process, identify training and development needs and establish performance standards for the EMEA digital marketing team.
Educating Northern Trust partners on best practice digital marketing and continue to develop expertise as the subject matter expert
The ideal candidate should demonstrate some of the following qualifications:
Excellent editing and writing skills
Dynamic presenter - the candidate needs to be able to explain coherently to others, who may not be familiar with the medium, how digital technologies work and what their marketing application is
Web development: familiarity with CMS (Adobe AEM), personalisation features, A/B testing strategy and execution, SEO, Google Data Studio, Adobe Marketo Engage, and GA360
Familiarity with agile methodology
Multi-media experience, including video, podcasts and audio production
A relevant degree or higher education certificate is preferred
