Our Legal and Business Administration, a member of our Asia & Oceania Administration Department, consists of two teams – the Legal team and the Business Administration team. The functions of the Legal team are to provide, in general, legal support to the bank in terms of any legal needs of the business lines. The functions of the Business Administration team are, in general, to provide general documentation and registration support in terms of the setting up and maintenance of credit lines and customer accounts.

Job Responsibilities Your key roles & responsibilities include:
Developing, managing and delivering the relevant analytics solutions for the Legal & Business Administration Team, in partnership with other teams as relevant within the Bank.
Providing solutions using scrum, agile development methodology and technology tools to restructure / reorganise and provide innovative solutions for current workflow processes to make them more streamline and efficient.
Partnering with relevant Big Data, AI vendors to supplement in-house solutions as deemed relevant.
Job Requirements What you should have:
At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in the space of data science, data engineering and machine learning.
Familiarity with banking / legal industry will be an advantage.
Bachelor/Master Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or any other relevant discipline.
Good experience in managing data analytics and engineering teams across technology/business functions.
Possess strong technical competency to perform analytics and data science especially with experience in core NLP and text analytic tasks and application areas (e.g. text classification, information extraction, Named Entity Recognition, Entity Resolution, Question-Answering, Language Modelling)
Familiarity with existing Open Source NLP libraries and utilities (e.g. SpaCy, Stanford coreNLP, fastText, Gensim, word2vec, AllenNLP, Glove etc)
Strong expertise in Python and Machine Learning Libraries (e.g. Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Possess the ability to condense analysis into actionable insights to inform decision making, develop strategy and standards for enhancing business performance and operations.
Ability to drive a culture of innovation, learning and development as well as data-driven spirit within the team.
Good track record developing innovative solutions to business challenges.
