Role Purpose: Support the EMEA Securities Lending Business Management teams to implement the agreed strategy and drive expansion and revenue enhancement. This is a demanding role within the 'front office' environment of the securities lending business.
The successful candidate will be required to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines where priorities may change at short notice in order to support the needs of the business.
Support the onboarding of new borrowers and borrower expansion of business.
Work with Tri-Party agents to create new and update existing collateral profiles.
Manage client directed Collateral Exclusions.
Provide support to Senior Business Management Specialists on large/complex initiatives.
Extract Data from systems to enable Business Management team to satisfy regulatory and business data requirements.
Create and deliver Management reporting on Securities Lending Business. Skills / Requirements
Good communication skills, together with influencing and relationship-building are important attributes for the role. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Able to collaborate across lines of businesses.
Working with big sets of data and analysing this to find conclusions.
Translating initiatives into a presentation.
Working collaboratively with business partners in order to support day to day business activities.
Expert Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Some experience within Financial Services would be beneficial.
A university/college degree or equivalent and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
Ability to operate autonomously with an ability to face off to the management team, demonstrates a willingness to take initiative and work independently, a problem solver.
Ability to understand the business vision.
Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results oriented outlook, possess courage to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo.
