Your new company An established but still fast-growing multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.
Your new role This is a newly-created role within a fast growing and profitable multinational FMCG company. As Head of M&A, you will be tasked with supporting company growth and profitability through mergers, acquisitions and partnership evaluation activity. This role will be an opportunity to work closely with the Group CEO and board of directors on a daily-basis, to identify and execute on M&A and partnership transactions. You will lead the development of key analyses while working closely with internal and external partners to structure and execute transactions, enhancing the group's inorganic growth strategy in Asia and beyond. You will develop detailed financial models and work with the business units to identify and evaluate potential transactions and business cases from multiple strategic and operational perspectives.
What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced CPA/CFA (with MBA preferable) with 8-12+ years' relevant corporate finance / M&A experience gained in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or within a large multinational corporation. You will possess strong financial acumen and analytical skills, including the ability to read and interpret financial statements and build complex financial models, with a full understanding of enterprise valuation techniques. You will ideally have an understanding of the B2C sector and the ability to analyse industry trends in FMCG, Retail, Digital and E-Commerce. In addition, you'll need to possess strong commercial acumen with high influencing skills and a collaborative approach. The group is Asia-focused and key markets include China and Indonesia, so the ability to speak Mandarin in particular is preferred and/or Bahasa would be a plus also.
