Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extend ed to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Build the data management infrastructure and drive the effective use of data and Market Intelligence for Global Transaction Services
Monitor the cost and ensure it is within the budget
Undertake the internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, assist on maintaining the awareness of operational risk and minimize the occurrence of any potential leakage
Develop the analytics of customers / products / channels to guide and improve marketing effectiveness, product and channel strategies to build for a sustained
Provide guidance and coaching to team members on regulatory risk governance-related areas
Work collaboratively and closely with other business/supporting units and external parties to ensure compliance of regulatory requirements
Perform gap analysis on all relevant regulatory requirements applicable
Provide support to teams under COO Office in respect of regulatory related issues
Act as Subject Matter Expert ("SME") in terms of regulatory compliance for COO Office and represent the business in attending compliance-related forums and conferences related to GTS
Manage and monitor the completion of all regulatory related banking returns and/or surveys which are related to IBG
Degree holder in related disciplines, professional qualification in accountancy or audit
Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance / risk management / audit / operations in banking industry; exposure in China credit / market is preferred
Solid understanding and hands-on experience in conducting regulatory and credit-related researches
Effective analytical and problem solving skills. A team player with effective communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in both written and verbal English and Chinese; fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
