TD Securities (TDS) is a top-two dealer in Canada with a growing US business and global execution capabilities, offering a full suite of capital markets and corporate and investment banking products. Global Transaction Banking \u0022GTB\u0022 is a key contributor to the overall success of TDS, delivering revenue and liquidity to the firm from four business lines: Financial Institutions, Global Trade Finance, Corporate Cash Management and Export Agency Finance. GTB also has functions that support Credit Structuring, Product Strategy and Innovation, Business Intelligence, and Business Risk and Control.
GTB businesses deal with some of the world's largest corporations and global banks as well support the International Payment needs of TD Canada Trust and TD America's Most Convenient Bank Retail and Commercial Clients. GTB is highly integrated within TDS and TD Enterprise and works in close partnership with other business and corporate areas of TD Bank Group, with key partners in Risk, Operations, Legal, GAML, Marketing and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.
The nature of this role is strategic, analytical and highly collaborative and requires a strong understanding of the International Payment business along with the supporting technology and operations processes, to reside as the end to end International Payment Product expert. Position will work closely with a wide range of cross functional partners including risk, operations, finance, legal, technology architects, engineers and analysts to ensure that our products add value for our Clients and support the achievement of Global Transaction business goals. The VP International Payment Product role will: Provide business leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, training and sales support across multiple international Payment initiatives. Support all facets of Product development. Work on improving Client experience and engagement by driving product initiatives from inception through execution. Lead and drive requirement gathering sessions, identify requirement gaps and effectively negotiate with multiple stakeholders to deliver. Monitor markets and industry offerings to ensure Products continuously meet Client and Business needs and addresses future sustainability. Keep pace with regional/ industry/global changes which could impact our Business and service offerings. Partner with Operations, Liquidity, Credit, Legal and other key support and risk functions to mitigate risk, optimize solutions. Actively lead and participate in meetings with Relationship and Origination teams including Clients to support product education and gather Business and Client feedback. Support primary point of contact for escalations.
\u2022 Experience: Worked with Global Financial Institutions or Payment Related field; Post-Secondary Degree.
