Lead a team of professionals responsible for regulatory reporting and analytics
Develop and execute the implementation of the Granular Data Reporting framework
Identify opportunities to develop and enhance other regulatory reporting process involving cross functional granular (customer, transaction level) data
Develop the team to support the requirements and ensure appropriate leverage of resources across the organization to maximize effectiveness of the team
Provide leadership and drive execution of regulatory reporting initiatives such as new requests from regulators, enhancement of reporting platforms, strategic data sourcing, implementation of consistent change management and governance processes, implementation of strategic initiatives
Partner effectively and efficiently with LOB teams, Finance, Risk functions and other key stakeholders to drive accurate and efficient reporting
Ensure data integrity by adhering to internal controls and policies. Also ensuring robust checks and controls for all deliverables
Develop and validate consistent process flows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all activities
Present key results to executive management prior to filing with regulators Ensure timely submission of the reports in scope
Degree holder in Accounting or Finance with over 10 years' working experience in Financial Services Industry and CPA/Big 4 experience is a plus
Firmwide or LOB level regulatory reporting experience preferred
Proven managerial experience in guiding and developing team members
Strong banking and financial product knowledge with an understanding of how such products are reported on various reports
Proven ability to develop and drive the strategic direction of the team/function

Promotes partnership; encourage collaboration, information sharing and discussion
Foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated, and trends are anticipated and identified
Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal, the role requires significant interaction with LOBs, risk teams, senior managers including up to CFO/CRO level and with regulators
Ability to manage internal clients/key stakeholders by anticipating needs, proactively responsive and accessible, welcomes inputs and feedback
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills; good at interpretation of data and identification of anomalies
