As a member of our Technology Operations team, yourinitiative and creative problem-solving will help propel global innovation intechnology and business. Working with a team of motivated collaborators, you'lldevelop and implement strategic technology solutions, ensuring the successfulintegration of network system and applications servers into existing and newtechnology infrastructures. You'll play a key role in the care and support ofcustomers, including proactive incident monitoring. As part of the Global TechnologyInfrastructure (GTI) Client Workspace Services team, this role is responsible toprovide on-site and remote desktop support services and will include weekends, and additional hours when required. Key duties include the maintenance ofcomputer systems, including installation and configuration of hardware and softwareand provide technical support. The ideal candidate is also expected to have excellentcustomer service to manage face-to-face, telephone or electronic Interactionswith clients.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced infrastructure project, operations systems and data analytics knowledge
Proficiency in one or more of the following: Microsoft Office, VPN, Virtual Machines, Remote Connectivity products, Security
Understanding of technology offerings and businesses supported
Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot and deliver strategic solutions to clients
Genuine interest in continuous feedback, learning and growth opportunities
Effective collaboration and communication to achieve common goals and maintain a company standard of excellence
Good knowledge of Windows/MAC OS with the ability to carry out root cause analysis
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktop/laptop computers and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers.
Thorough understanding of Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems, Windows Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Office, MS SharePoint, Blackberry Enterprise Services, Bloomberg, RSA SecurID, Citrix Receiver, LAN/WAN and file& print infrastructures. Solid working knowledge of iOS devices.
Experience with Voice Technologies - Cisco, Avaya and IPC Turret, Video and Audio conferencing technologies- especially Cisco Telepresence, IPTV Technologies and Smart boards
Market Data Services (MDS) - Bloomberg, Reuters, Blackberry, and basic networking protocols. Line of Business product knowledge - General understanding of Investment Banking Line of Business's and specific business knowledge.
