The Strategy & Performance Team is part of the Office of the CIO and dedicated to driving transformative strategies, Emerging Technology and sustainable performance improvements across Enterprise Services and the Group focusing on:
Driving the continued digitisation of the bank
Instilling a culture of innovation and customer service
Improving ES business engagement and project execution
Leading productivity in operations and delivery functions
Ensuring alignment of business needs and target IT architecture

This role is has various administrative and analytical responsibilities including providing executive performance and scorecard reporting to the Innovation Board. This role brings together a range of financial, commercial and analytical skills to ensure the delivery of the Emerging Technology portfolio. The Emerging Technology Senior Analyst role will be required to:
Manage, provide and coordinate Emerging Technology finances/initiative funding with Finance and other ES Bus.
Collate inputs, validate data and provide insights to the Emerging Technology/leadership teams
Provide and coordinate reporting for Innovation Portfolios to the Emerging Technology Board and ESLT
Develop thought leadership relating to a specific Emerging Technology Focus Area
Develop ad-hoc presentations to various leadership teams
Develop and independently lead a portfolio dedicated to a specific Emerging Technology Focus Area
Build an ecosystem both internally and externally external aligned to a specific Emerging Technology Focus Area
Manage certain relationships with External parties such as Accelerators and start-ups
Manage the innovation knowledge base and related administrative functions
The role will need to establish and maintain working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders at various levels across Enterprise Services, other support units and Customer facing Business Units. You will also be required to engage various internal customers and lead / participate in a broad range portfolio management & reporting activities.

Graduate qualifications in a numerate discipline preferably finance, business or economics.
Strong background in data analysis & insights generation
Excellent critical thinking skills and a strong background in Project Management
Strong leadership capabilities with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction.
Executive Reporting skills / Reporting to senior leadership teams
Experience in a performance management or related advisory function.
Familiarity with corporate strategic planning & reporting processes.
