As a Manager Remediation Methodology and Assurance, you will be a confident leader with strong operational and technical knowledge and experience relating to Advice. You will make a significant contribution to the broader strategy of the business and contribute more broadly to the Remediation Services team.
More specifically you will:
Primary point of contact for all Advice Remediation senior leadership team decision making forums
Responsible for the end to end design and maintenance of the Quality of Advice Review (QAR) Methodology and related documents including, (but not limited to); Assessment Guidelines, Technical Bulletins, Quick Reference Guides and Atypical Guidance Notes
Responsible for providing support to the QAR team ensuring correct interpretation of methodology is applied
Responsible for providing support across QAR in the development of advice review guidance materials and compliance standards where required
Liaising with key stakeholders across the Advice business including; QAR, Legal, Licensee Standards, Line 1 Risk, Line 2 Risk, Firstech, Research, Analytics, and Advice IT
Responsible for conducting Quality Assurance across QAR to ensure adherence to the QAR Methodology, Assessment Guidelines and related documents
Ensuring the customer communication templates are aligned to the QAR Methodology, Assessment Guidelines and related documents ensuring all changes have appropriate sign-off and circulated through appropriate channels
Working closely with the Governance Manager to document changes and circulate via the correct channels

Sitting within the Transformation business, the Remediation Services team ensures that quality support and services are provided to the Advice businesses to support their customer bases ensuring smooth delivery of adviser payments, paraplanning, technology, advice remediation and projects. The Quality of Advice Remediation (QAR) team provides Remediation Administration and Reviews to Advice Financial Planning businesses including Licensees.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Strong working knowledge of the Best Interests Duty and related obligations, and their practical application in an extensive range of advice scenarios
Strong technical understanding of advice principles, strategies and products
Clear understanding of both pre and post-FOFA advice standards
Previous experience in drafting methodology documents, guidelines, quick reference guides, technical bulletins and any other program collateral required across Quality of Advice Remediation
Strong understanding of the Governance principles
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Attention to the changing regulatory environment as it relates to the quality of advice
An understanding of the Advice Remediation end to end methodology and process
Must have -
