The Role Responsibilities
Manage development of Treasury-Modelling technology solutions to liquidity risk requirements;
Assure continuous stakeholders' engagement to keep abreast of latest business needs;
Perform impact analysis and propose solutions that meet business objectives and SLAs, while also aligning with technology strategy;
Oversee provision of development estimates for delivery of Treasury-model components to feed into overall project plans;
Participate in unit and integration testing of components delivered in Treasury-modelling.
Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with Treasury business, Finance Change and Operations, and Technology (including vendors) stakeholders to align development roadmap to business priorities.
Challenge and validate proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements that maximise business benefits while bearing in mind scalability and optimization of resources.
Build process and structure for successful integration of the PL development team with global SC technology.
Assure building and maintaining of SCB's high profile as employer in the programming community (Haskell and Java), e.g. via industry events, activity on forums, relations with universities.
Perform all required tasks related to team administration, including cost centre ownership and control, SLA ownership, documentation completeness, team representation in all required forums.
Assure full compliance of the managed team will Code of Conduct, all required regulations, mandatory eLearnings and internal procedures.
Drive technology strategy to support long-term Treasury objectives
Gain familiarity with Bank-wide technology strategy in order to frame Treasury strategy
Provide guidance and support to members on teams in defining methodologies, developing prototypes and validating solutions
Responsible for defining annual KPIs and Objectives for team and ensuring these are achieved throughout the year.
Manage bi-annual performance reviews for the team, maintain career development plans and participate in management meetings to discuss people development.

Our Ideal Candidate
Preferably Bachelor's degree or equivalent education;
At least 10 years industry experience in software development and testing;
Good understanding of and experience in a broad range of Frameworks & Build Tools such as Struts (MVC Framework for creating web applications) or Hibernate (Framework for mapping objects to database models) or Ant (Build Tool) - tool for compiling and testing for Java applications.
