TD Securities (TDS) is a top-two dealer in Canada with a growing US business and global execution capabilities, offering a full suite of capital markets and corporate and investment banking products. Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a key contributor to the overall success of TDS, delivering revenue and liquidity to the firm from four business lines: Corporate Cash Management, Global Trade Finance, Financial Institutions and Export Agency Finance. All four business lines are supported by GTB teams dedicated to Credit Structuring, Product Strategy and Innovation, Business Intelligence, and Business Risk and Control.
GTB businesses deal with some of the world's largest corporations and global banks as well support the International Payment needs of TD Canada Trust and TD America's Most Convenient Bank Retail and Commercial Clients. GTB is highly integrated within TDS and TD Enterprise and works in close partnership with other business and corporate areas of TD Bank Group, with key partners in Risk, Operations, Technology, GAML and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management.
Within GTB this position is aligned under Product Strategy and Innovation and will be mainly dedicated to servicing the complex needs of the Corporate Cash Management Business which provides customized treasury and payment solutions to large corporate and institutional clients
Job Description The Senior Product and Client Solutions Analyst (Associate Level) will be recognized as a Corporate product and process expert and will work closely with a wide range of cross functional partners including operations, technology, risk, legal and marketing to ensure that products utilized add maximum value for our Corporate Clients and support the achievement of Global Transaction business goals. Successful incumbent requires a strong understanding of the quickly evolving Payment business along with an aptitude and interest to understand end to end processes, including some level of knowledge of supporting technology and operations processes in order to reside as the end to end Corporate Cash Management Product expert. The Senior Analyst International Payment Product role will also: Develop and maintain updated Product marketing and internal training material for TDS developed solutions Fulfill product owner role for small to medium size GTB funded Technology initiatives aimed at new or updated product/service offerings:
Document client requirements; lead requirement gap analysis and effectively communicate requirements with multiple Partners to execute on requirements/ issue resolution while ensuring we are effectively utilizing clients time
Participate in Test case documentation and Business User test execution
Track and champion for resolution recurring corporate issues related to TDCT Cash Management product/ services Regularly partner with multiple Operations and Technology teams to solution client exemptions, optimize solutions and problem solve issues Participate in meetings with Relationship and Operational support teams, which may include Clients, to support product education and gather Business and Client feedback While position is not expected to support day to day and standard onboarding/support queries, first few months in role will include end to end review for process streamlining Keep pace with TD Cash Management and Industry changes which could impact Business and service offerings as well evaluate for opportunity to enhance Client and Business needs and addresses future sustainability
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
Possess an in-depth knowledge of:
TD's Cash Management products;
End to end lifecycle of the multiple TD products available to service client's money movement and Treasury servicing needs;
SWIFT and Corporate clients use of;
ISO20022 and XML formats and Corporate clients use of;
TD's partners involved in servicing Corporate clients
Strong MS Office capabilities (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Efficiency: Excellent organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while setting realistic response expectations and delivering on same
Analytics: Knowledge of data sources available and ability to leverage data to make informed decisions that can be clearly articulated
Collaboration: Positive track record of delivering to client requirements where dependent on cross-functional teams
Self -starter: Independent thinker, work under minimal management guidance
People Person: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, speak clearly, confidently and persuasively in positive or negative situations
