We're looking for a Credit Internal Ratings Based (IRB) Data Project Lead to join a cutting-edge team that puts the customer at the heart of everything it does

This role is available for a period of 18 months
What you'll do
In this role, you'll be developing and maintaining structured processes which analyse business risk profiles and decisions with reference to regulatory and risk policy requirements.
Day-to-day, you'll also be:
Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and preparing insightful advice for business consideration, as well as preparing succinct executive summaries, setting out options to be taken
Leading governance and control activities including deliverables tracking, reviewing meeting minutes and setting agendas, reporting on process and control environment and managing control remediation activities
Delivering change that enhances the efficiency or effectiveness of Financial Risk & Analytics analytical output
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll bring banking or financial services experience, along with experience of risk systems, methodologies and processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment. You'll also need a degree in a numerate discipline with experience in data driven analysis.
You'll need knowledge of the risk domain, in particular retail and wholesale credit IRB, as well as strong data management skills including metadata management, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling and analysis, and data governance. And you'll need to be skilled in one or more analytical platforms, such as SAS, and you'll need a working understanding of data management technologies.

Leadership experience within a professional environment, where planning, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills were critical to success
A track record of delivery across multiple businesses, involving complex stakeholder, process and technology issues
