We Offer The Data Management & Reporting team sits within Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM). The NFRM organization is the natural evolution of work that Credit Suisse began three years ago to enable consistent oversight across compliance risk and operational risk. NFRM seeks to help actively and predictively handle risk through the following:
Deepening collaboration and connectivity between risk and control frameworks and data and analytics capabilities, creating joint intelligence to more effectively monitor risk developments;
Actively engage with the first line of defense
Be the intersection of non-financial risk data across the bank
Deliver a data-enabled, global read-across capability demonstrating analytical tools.
Data Management & Reporting team is responsible for management of all data quality assurance and reporting processes. With the ever growing focus on data, the team will build and execute a consistent NFRM data management strategy ensuring that data is fit for use in risk analysis, decision making and planning. This includes responsibility for all critical to NFRM data driven reporting, such as risk appetite, issues management scorecard, etc. Key Responsibilities The hire will support Data Management & Reporting team with elements of Operational Risk Framework in the area of Risk and Control Indicators pertaining to Risk Appetite and Top Operational Risks, areas of responsibility include:
Setting bank wide minimum standards for metrics, their usage to track Operational Risk
Owning and designing the framework, governance and bank's procedures for metrics as a key component of Enterprise Risk and Controls Framework (ERCF) for NFRM
Support the continued development and maintenance of Credit Suisse's bank-wide Qualitative Metric Inventory ensuring data is fit for purpose across Qualitative Risk Appetite reporting, Group Top Operational Risk reporting, RCSA and CRA reviews, Scenario Planning and Read Across
Actively collaborating with 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense to promote Operational Risk framework for metrics
Providing review and challenge of metrics related activities to ensure consistency and alignment across all divisions and legal entities
Promoting the link between metrics, key controls, incidents and issues
Senior stakeholder interaction, governance forum & working group chairing & secretariat
Liaising with other NFRM Capital Data and Analytics and NFRM Global Practices teams that work on topics including Internal Controls, RCSA, Risk Appetite, Top Operational Risks, Internal Incidents, Issues Management and ERCF Risk Register
You hold a University degree in banking, economics, mathematics, or related engineering or scientific fields
Understanding and prior working experience in a global, multi-cultural banking environment; understanding of Operational Risk topics preferred
Program & project, work-stream management & coordination experience
Strong analytical background, paired with interpersonal & communication skillset, and the ability to explain complex issues in a simple manner
Demonstrated success in leading multiple priorities, delivering to established timelines and to high quality standards
Ability to think independently, pick up new concepts quickly and present views and recommendations in an objective and credible manner, while maintaining positive relationships with NFRM business partners
Ambitious, with a focus on hands-on delivery and ability to work autonomously in a global team setup.
