The purpose of the Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance is to identify and manage the risks associated with Platforms Distribution and Services, building and maintaining effective relationships to drive the compliant delivery of the offer in line with expected outcomes. The Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance is an experienced and competent financial services professional with practical experience in the design and implementation of operational governance or risk frameworks. In addition, you will be responsible for managing all first line operational risk and compliance requirements including, but not limited to, risk and board reporting, control monitoring and testing, supporting incident and issue resolution and root cause analysis.

What do I need?
7 years financial services experience, with at least 5 of those in either a 1LOD or 2LOD role.
Significant experience with risk and control frameworks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including having either served on Boards/Committees or having key responsibility for drafting papers).
Understanding of the financial advice and platforms sectors in Australia including regulatory changes and challenges, trends and the competitive environment
Strong experience working across business groups to deliver consistent outcomes
Relevant qualifications or experience within wealth management or similar environment
Tertiary qualifications in a legal, business or finance related discipline ideal but not mandatory.
Understanding of the financial planning wealth management environments.
Understanding of relevant laws and regulations underpinning wealth businesses (e.g. Corporations Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides, FSC Guidance Notes).
