The Derivatives Investment Outsourcing Operations department provides middle and back office operational support to investment management clients, across a wide range of Exchange Traded and Over the Counter products. The team's responsibilities include trade capture, trade affirmation / confirmation, trade settlement, margin calculation, margin settlement and all associated reconciliations.

Northern Trust is currently recruiting a Senior Analyst to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 'best in class' operation at the heart of our business. We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in Derivative Operations although we are also keen to hear from candidates who believe they have a transferable skillset. Successful candidates will receive a mix of classroom and on the job training to become operational in the role.
The Collateral Margin documentation team are responsible for the set up and maintenance of all static data on Colline, Northern Trust's Collateral Management platform. This static is set up in line with the terms and stipulations of the Clients legal agreements (CSA. GMRA, MSFTA etc.) to support the Collateral management requirements of their Derivatives Trading with a specified Counterparty.
Set up of Collateral Management Agreement (CSA/GMRA etc.) static on our Collateral Management platform Colline to facilitate the agreement and booking of OTC Collateral Calls.
SSI (Standard Settlement Instruction) set ups
Maintenance of daily risk controls
Resolution of queries internal and external
On boarding of new clients in Colline
Participation in Transition and Client On boarding process
Participation in system and process improvements
Knowledge/ Skills - PREREQUISITEs
