Hours of Work:
Your usual hours of work are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Working outside these hours, however, will be required as the workload demands. Alternative start and end time for daily work is at the discretion of the department head.
Place of Work:
Based in New York Office.
Edit time-sensitive research reports and rating analyses from various sectors, including Structured Finance, Public Finance, Banks/Financial Institutions and Latin American reports, for publication on the Fitch website.
Principal Responsibilities :
Perform high-quality editing of content for research reports.
Work with formatters to produce clear, accurate graphics that conform to Fitch style.
Liaise with analysts to ensure text and graphics are accurate.
Minimum of three years' financial editing experience
Excellent knowledge of grammar, ability to learn Fitch editorial and graphic styles
Knowledge of desktop and editing processes
Experience with project management, along with ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
Strong knowledge of financial markets, bond/equity markets and credit ratings industry
Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and research management/database applications
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact constructively with all levels of management required.
Must be Internet savvy
Ability to edit multiple reports simultaneously
