Your role Working within our cyber regions team you'll be engaged across every industry, liaising with stakeholders across many functions. You'll be both a valued consultant and a true business partner. Defining technology roadmaps, leading projects and influencing decision-makers will all be in a day's work. And your creativity will change the way our clients work for years. Think you'll just be a strategist? Think again. You'll provide leadership to deliver hands-on solutions to major client challenges - conducting cyber maturity reviews, creating operating models, designing infrastructure, specifying hardware and calculating risks.
As a Senior Consultant focused on Cyber within Risk Advisory, you will typically have responsibility for:

You will deliver cyber-related engagements with our clients, working seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues and clients;

You'll be contributing to the creation of new Cyber related services and the development of existing services;
You'll be keen to increase the eminence of the Deloitte Cyber practice and engage with some high profile clients;
You will have the willingness to learn and develop that Deloitte will encourage through training, mentoring and coaching options;

Your professional experience Desirable skills, qualifications and experience:
Experience gained in consultancy, industry or leading academic bodies focussed on security or a related risk management field
Familiarity with the principles of cyber security and an understanding of how these challenge or enable business opportunities
A demonstrable ability to solve complex problems, using an appropriate combination of analysis, experience and judgement
A passion for delivering high quality complex projects including effective programme, project, financial and people management;
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber-attack techniques and threats
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of developing strong relationships, either as a consultant or within an organisation.
Ability to solve complex problems objectively individually and as part of a team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to tailor communications to people from a wide range of backgrounds and seniorities;
Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or equivalent experience; and
Relevant cyber qualifications, for example CISSP, CISM, PCI QSA would be beneficial, but working experience and knowledge is regarded as equally important.
