Whilst the team is responsible for managing model risk across the Bank, this role sits within the Model Risk Operations team and will entail creating monthly risk reporting, data quality reporting, reconciliation and analysis of core Model Risk management tools.
The successful candidate will have a quantitative degree with experience of risk management and a proven track record for focus on improving, developing and automating processes and tools.

As an Analyst - Model Risk Control Operations your main responsibilities will be
Identify opportunities to automate and improve the efficiency of current processes via SAS, Access, VBA and SharePoint including the development of tactical tools to challenge current systems.
Supporting the embedding of a model risk culture through the creation of regular reporting using SAS for Line 1, Line 2 and Regulatory stakeholders.
Creation and distribution of Model Risk Reporting and other management level reporting with a view to maintain and improve model risk appetite.
Supporting the evolution of model risk reporting, reviewing trends and providing commentary for BAU and ad-hoc reports for audiences up to and including Board.
Develop strong stakeholder relationships to support the embedding of model risk management.
Ensure that core Model Risk management tools are maintained and updated.
The role holder will also assist in the administration of the Model Risk Management Forum for the Risk Department.
Minimum skills and experience required
Degree level education in a numerical subject or equivalent experience.
Experience in creating management, data quality reporting and analysis using SAS, Excel, VBA or other similar programs.
Stakeholder engagement skills.
Sound communication and presentation skills.
Good organisational and project management skills.
Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills.
