What it's about In this position, you will be part of the Private Infrastructure Integrated Investments team and lead all aspects of private infrastructure investments. This includes sourcing, assessing, executing and monitoring private infrastructure transactions with a focus on non-control investments (minority investments, co-investments and fund investments on a primary and secondary basis). Your responsibilities will include:
Source infrastructure investment opportunities with the focus on EMEA (direct and secondary fund investments)
Run transaction execution (including quantitative and qualitative due diligence and legal negotiations)
Review valuation models and investment recommendations and assure quality control at all stages of the due diligence process
Fully represent transactions in Partners Group Investment Committee
Take a lead role in monitoring infrastructure investments and managing relationships to infrastructure managers in EMEA
Actively contribute to the infrastructure Business Development activities in the region, including fundraising / client interactions
Regional team leadership role, actively contributing to people development What we expect For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses intellectual flexibility, strong numerical, networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
Top academic credentials
10+ years of relevant work experience, including background of at least 5 years in principal investing
Established track record in infrastructure investments, including having led a number of transactions end-to-end
Excellent analytical, financial, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, combined with the desire to learn and succeed
Strong project management skills
Ability to identify, measure and manage risks and cope with incomplete information
Driven and caring people leader
