Such role requires the handling of the following matters with respective to AML / Economic Sanctions competently:
To conduct on-site compliance reviews to our overseas offices;
To compile compliance review reports with necessary recommendations;
To understand local regulatory requirements and situations by communicating with overseas office staff;
To review policies, procedures and practices of the overseas offices;
To understand operation or system project status of overseas offices for reporting purpose;
To provide training to overseas offices;
To support Japan Head Office and overseas offices for both regular and ad-hoc matters;
To handle cases and issues as instructed;
To learn leading a team by promoting communication and team building, provide guidance/feedback to junior staff whereas necessary.
Enhancing the management framework based on the global risk management rule on AML and Economic Sanctions (Promote the centralized management of the AML/Economic sanctions risks of the HO, region, and overseas offices);
To grasp the compliance status of the overseas offices (by on-site monitoring etc.).

Work experience, education and skills
Minimum 4 years of experience in AML/Sanctions with good understanding and application of regulatory requirements;
Academic legal qualification desirable;
Regional experience preferable;
AML accreditation, such as CAMS, would be an advantage;
Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Power Point;
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin; Japanese language desirable.
