Our client is an international financial services group with businesses in Insurance and Asset Management in Asia. With a strong history across the Asia Pacific region. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Audit professional to join the Regional Internal Audit team covering Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Report to and support the APAC Head of Internal Audit on audit engagements and be designated to either the Insurance or the Asset Management business.
Lead and conduct end-to-end audit engagements across the business and be responsible for your designated business areas / functions.
Support the regional team on audit planning processes and executions.
Participate in global projects and be involved in global audit assignments when required.
Serve as an advisor and business partner by maintaining strong relationships with the business.
Provide comprehensive statements of potential deficiencies to internal control system and compliance with corporate rules within the audit reports.
Contribute ideas to further develop the audit framework, methods and procedures.
Identifies and highlights risk areas for management attention and ensures comprehensiveness of the Internal Audit's Risk Assessment.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
CA/CPA qualified with at least 6 - 8 years of audit experience gained in a Big 4 (Financial Services or Healthcare focused), Insurance, Asset Management, Banking and or Healthcare sector
Knowledge of audit and risk management principles, methods and techniques
Strong intellectual, analytical and project management skills.
Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style.
Proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English, additional ability in Cantonese or Mandarin would be beneficial but not a must
