Deloitte leads with purpose, solving complex issues for our clients and communities. Across disciplines and across borders, Deloitte Global supports our network of member firms by developing and driving global strategy, programs, and platforms, and creating new solutions and transformational experiences. Our people share a passion for igniting change and a strong service orientation that shapes our organization and those it supports.
Eight years ago, Global Client Contracting ("GCC") established a network of Qualified Negotiators, ("QNs") in each member firm to streamline global client contract negotiations. Following rapid growth in demand, the Global Easier Team ("Global Easier") was set up four years ago, to leverage and support the QN Network, and to provide a central knowledge base for our contracting efforts. Global Easier is already seen as a great success and, in January 2017, the DTTL Executive charged GCC with taking our contracting efforts up a further level; to establish Deloitte as a "peer of one" in this important aspect of client service. As a result, a new contracting approach for Global Crown Jewel (GCJ) clients has been launched in January 2018, backed up by a state-of-the-art global contract lifecycle management (gCLM) system and data repository. Many of our largest and most important clients, particularly in the Americas and EMEA Regions, are looking to negotiate Global contracts, (master service agreements, or MSAs), with Deloitte, covering most or all of our services. This is a significant challenge, given the differences in legal systems, regulation and the member firms in the countries covered by the Deloitte Network. Meeting this challenge is an essential part of delivering a positive client experience, and a source of competitive advantage for Deloitte. Asia Pacific headquartered clients are catching up on MSA requests with Deloitte. We have a great opportunity to take a lead in negotiating such MSAs with our clients, and thereby building competitive advantage and market share. Global Easier, including the successful candidate, will play a critical role in exploring this exciting opportunity.
Regional Easier Team: There are three Regional Easier Teams (Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA) which make up Global Easier. Global Easier is the conduit for Lead Client Service Partners' (LCSPs) global client contracting needs. Each Regional Easier Team is a highly responsive, single point of contact where an LCSP can get resources assigned, subject matter experts connected, or general guidance on contracting issues. Global Easier also works towards finding solutions to emerging marketplace contracting issues.
Global Easier is at the heart of the new Global Crown Jewel contracting process. It manages the negotiation process and gCLM system, use experience of past negotiations to advise key stakeholders, and monitor progress against key performance indicators. It is also the primary link between the teams dealing with each individual client negotiation and the GCC Leadership Team.
