GBO Control Hub team supports centralized administration of control and compliance programs across all global billing team. Global Billing Operations as a part of State Street's Finance Division is responsible for Client Set Up, Fee Schedule, End to End Client Invoicing, Out of Pockets. Position requires billing accounting and control environment knowledge, financial instruments in depth expertise. Employee within GBO Control Hub is required to analyze billing incidents and issues, analyze root causes, identify control gaps, analyze risks, drive remediation efforts within the billing teams, regular reporting of remediation progress, cooperate with billing process owners and leaders with special attention to risk excellence.
Provide extensive expertise in billing area;
Support in risk and control programs across Billing, including preparation of documentation and controls, Dashboards and reports;
Drive remediation efforts within the billing teams;
Analysis of billing issues, incidents, errors;
Preparation of billing activities [Client Set Up, Fee Schedue, Data, End to End Client Invoicing, Out of Pocket] Remediation Plans;
Drafting recommendations and liaising with the business units to remediate risks, findings and gaps identified during the validation process;
Preparation Risk/Issues/Controls dashboards for Billing Finance Management;
Billing Risks Assessment;
Tracking finance, audit and compliance activities. Preparation of input to internal and external reports, presentation materials and management reports;
Design billing Controls;
Assisting with risk assessments to identify areas requiring detailed testing;
Participate in discussions with process and control owners to assess residual risks, identify controls and control gaps;
Identify, document and maintain evidence supporting process and controls objectives.
Extensive knowledge of billing processes;
Bachelors' degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
at least 5 years work experience preferably in financial/billing institution and area of scope;
Very good Microsoft Office knowledge;
Attention to details and problem solving approach;
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to find solutions and solve issues within area of billing;
Ability to identify creative solutions;
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy;
Ability to multi-task work under time pressure, give accurate and timely delivery.
