This position provides direct support to Relationship Managers in Private Banking and in the Community Development Corporation (CDC) through the analysis, management, and processing of all commercial loan-related requests. These requests include preparing loan documentation, booking new loans, processing loan advances and payments, initiating loan rate and term renewals, generating billings, and resolving client problems and inquiries. The incumbent must understand and interpret loan documentation and ensure that all loan-related requests are in compliance with documentation, legal standards, credit policy, and bank procedures. He/she posts entries to clients demand deposit accounts, initiates requests for outgoing wires and official checks, inputs General Ledger entries, and applies incoming wires as payment on clients established loans and lines of credit. The incumbent is responsible for training newly hired loan specialists, ensure all operating procedures are reviewed and updated in accordance with business unit and corporate policy, and function as a key participant on projects impacting the servicing of client products on the commercial loan application systems.
Qualifications High school diploma/Bachelor s degree preferred. Five years of loan banking operations experience desired. Demonstrated customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to react to and capably assess a situation under pressure. Proficiency in Word & Excel required.
