The Retail Risk Management group is responsible for understanding and managing the credit risks for retail credit portfolios. This area consists of Credit Loss Reporting, Forecasting, Acquisition and Account Management Strategy, Policy and Governance. The PCL (Provision for Credit Loss) Reporting team is responsible for the delivery of credit loss reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of PCL Reporting, the Senior Analyst will work closely with other analysts and business partners to gather information for the preparation, production, and distribution of PCL (Provision for Credit Loss) and ECL (Expected Credit Loss) related reports used by CBAW Chief Risk Officer, TD\u2019s Regulators and other key stakeholders. The reporting covers a wide range of retail credit products including Credit Cards, Auto Finance, Personal Lending, Small Business Banking, and Commercial. The reporting process is governed by a set of high standard data governance controls to ensure report accuracy and completeness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and ongoing ownership for PCL Reporting and will be part of a learning culture where ongoing development is encouraged. Specific accountabilities include:
Deliver timely, comprehensive and quality management reporting
Responsible for ensuring adequate controls are in place to meet audit and accuracy standards
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and coordinate with other risk partners to obtain insights for commentary
Identify data anomalies and recommend a course of action to Senior Management
Collaboratively working in partnership with other Risk Management partner
This role will appeal to an individual who is comfortable taking ownership for delivering challenging, high priority reporting within tight reporting cycles. This role requires a combination of technical skills, business knowledge and interpersonal skills:
Technical Skills: \u2022 Superior Excel skill in maintaining complex workbook, formulas and Pivot tables. \u2022 Ability to extract data from Mainframe, SAS Grid, and/or SQL server. \u2022 Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. \u2022 Experience with data visualization tool such as Tableau is an asset.
Business Knowledge: \u2022 Experience in loan loss reporting or similar is a strong asset. \u2022 Understanding of retail credit products, credit loss concepts and related processes. \u2022 Great attention to details and experience in process improvement initiatives including validation, automation, and simplification. \u2022 Knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset.

Education \u2022 Undergraduate degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field
