Scope of Role
As part of the Transaction Banking (TB) Global Content and Proposal Management Team, the Graphics & Video Editor/Producer will primarily be responsible for producing compelling videos, digital assets, and editing services which reflects the client's voice. The role will be a part of a support team in Malaysia and collaborates effectively, under the supervision of the global team, to deliver video content using structured, consistent processes. The remit of the TB Global Content and Proposal Management Team is to develop, deliver and maintain high-quality client-centric content to be used by proposal managers, relationship managers, sales and product teams. Additionally, the team oversees an internal online content repository called SalesPoint.
Support all aspects of video production that are in line with brand standards including visual boards creation, pre- and post-production tasks
Support the design of digital assets and oversee the organisation of a library of digital assets for the team
Demonstrate good judgment and apply design best practices to ensure consistency, as well as adherence to editorial standards, legal compliance, and brand voice
Manage a shared production calendar for video production - ensure process and workflow is adhered to on all video projects; monitor internal steps and milestones within the production process; ensure deadlines are being met to ensure final delivery stays on track
Track the performance and support the continuous improvement of all videos on the global content repositories
Other duties as the position evolves and as assigned by manager.
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in film, media design, multimedia production and/or related field.
3-4 years' creative experience working in a similar role. Banking experience is a plus.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices via work samples/portfolios
Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programmes e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Animate, etc.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus
Good all-round communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English
Strong organisational/time management skills and attention to detail, particularly in media management and archiving
Creative and enthusiastic solution-oriented team player
Ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and work effectively with diverse teams
Able to work across Mac and PC
Knowledge of MS Office 2016, in particular Word and PowerPoint, is desired.
