Department overview: 部门简介： Fitch Bohua's Financial Institutions department issues and monitors ratings for Chinese financial institutions. We are hiring a number of roles at two different levels to join this new team.
The Financial Institutions team in Fitch Bohua rates institutions according to Fitch's unique global ratings framework. Quantitative analysis is used to identify companies' strengths and weaknesses, such as balance sheet integrity, profitability, cash flow and risk management. Our analysts use a comprehensive range of indicators to assess institutions, including company strategies, management policies, industry trends and future growth prospects. Each credit rating is issued by our experienced ratings committee, which consists of senior executives.
Conduct credit research into Chinese Banks, Insurance and Other Non-Bank Financial Institutions to support Fitch Bohua's development. Acquire in-depth knowledge of business profile, risk appetite and credit outlook in Chinese Financial Institutions; provide clear guidance and insight in research reports.
Assign credit rating tasks to other team members and support/assist other analysts with credit rating projects.
Attend rating committee meetings and other internal analysis meetings.
Complete tasks assigned by the team supervisor and assist junior analysts.
Conduct regular analysis of issuing institutions and market/industry trends; compile committee reports.
Publish research (including reports for issuers, industry research reports and bulletins).
Maintain documentation in accordance with company and committee regulations and external communications policies.
Organize PR events in line with business needs (including analysis meetings, meetings with investors/investment banks and media events).
Qualifications and experience: 任职资格及经验：
A minimum of 5 years credit rating experience in a credit rating agency, bank/investment bank, regulatory authority, investment manager (or similar) or consulting/accounting company in China/Greater China region.
Good command of written and spoken English and native Mandarin skills are essential
Intermediate Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Adobe skills.
Able to conduct in-depth analysis of Chinese financial institutions and issue credit ratings.
Able to develop solutions to overcome challenges associated with the collection and analysis of data for the Chinese market.
Excellent analysis skills; proficient in quantitative data analysis.
Able to communicate effectively with staff and partners (including investors, investment banks, regulatory authorities and the media).
