Provide dedicated support to the European Client team and in particular the French office:
Assist Sales Director(s) in the Paris office in French speaking specific sales and relationship activities
Co-ordinate responses and/or reply directly to existing and prospective client queries (in French)
Assist in completion of periodical reporting, specifically ESG (Responsible Investing) questionnaires in French.
Assist with other ad-hoc requirements to support the Paris office, including activities that require liaison with other teams within the business to facilitate the requirements.
Provide translations of key documents that relate to clients.
Provide timely support to Sales and Relationship managers for larger clients, assisting in the co-ordination of responses to client queries incorporating in-put required from a number of teams across the business.
Provide timely and high quality support direct to smaller clients, enabling own relationships to be built, responding to requests for reports, factsheets, holdings, reports etc.
Pitching support – with the guidance of Sales and Relationship Managers, take ownership of developing premeeting research & collation of collateral.
Ensure a good understanding of ESG integration and how ESG issues can impact long term investment performance is maintained. Work effectively with the Responsible Investment team and to keep abreast of regulatory and market developments.
Events & Campaigns – work closely with Marketing & Digital team to maximise event attendance and increase exposure for digital campaigns.
Attend and support Sales team at events and provide prospect follow up.
Experience & Qualifications
Relationship skills - ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, existing & potential clients.
Organised and effective time management – able to prioritise workload in a logical manner in order to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
Native or fluent in French speaker is essential.
High attention to detail, enthusiasm, reliability and good communication skills will be imperative.
Enjoys working in a team in a collaborative & inclusive way, with ability to take initiative.
Familiarity with Salesforce and Morningstar would be highly desirable with ambition to become expert.
