Perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and perform other support activities are part of the monthly financial close process for ACA's domestic and international affiliates
Prepare monthly financial statements and related financial analysis
Assist management in developing policies and procedures that improve existing practices and strengthen internal controls
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and process intercompany transactions
Prepare annual state tax apportionment schedules
Prepare annual personal property returns
Prepare miscellaneous monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
Assist management in developing annual budgets and forecasts
Support management in completing annual financial , property, and other audits
Perform financial analysis and assist management in meeting its financial planning and reporting needs
Perform other ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support the various value-added initiatives
Bachelor's degree in accounting from accredited college or university required
Certified Public Accountant designation (CPA) preferred
3-5 more years of progressively more responsible accounting work experience, preferably in a professional services, or project-based environment
Deltek Vision accounting system experience preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting/financial management principles
Demonstrated professional integrity
Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
Ability to work well in a fast paced, small team environment
Must be able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
Highly motivatedand goal oriented; proactive in one's own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks
Dedicated to upholding ACA's high-quality standards and customer service focus
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise discretion, professional judgement, and make independent decisions on matters of significance for ACA and/or ACA clients
Proficient with Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel
Willing to undertake minimal travel
Available for work and/or travel Monday through Friday on a general basis, including occasional nights and weekends
