We're rapidly expanding our client-facing and investment-focused teams in Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Global Private Banking in China, Hong Kong and Singapore, and are interested in speaking with high-performing individuals.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Director, HSBC Jade, China Team.
Manage a team of sales professionals and monitor daily activities of the team
Acquire new business opportunities with high value nonresident Chinese clients
Enable the team to achieve performance expectation by development of referral source, intermediaries and internal business partnership
Execute international or wealth strategic agenda
Ensure operation is fully complied and aligned with related regulation or policies
Arrange or participate in relationship building client visits and events in Hong Kong or overseas or China
Maintain the levels of operational integrity, follow HSBC Group and local regulatory requirement
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in leading a sales team, with focus in nonresident Chinese being highly preferred
Solid years of experience in client acquisition and high net worth client management in financial sector
Advanced understanding on business banking client segment and wealth products
Proven ability to manage professional relationships with multiple parties and deliver results with multiple deadlines
Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
Clear view on cross border policy and external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management
Holder of relevant insurance, both insurance and investment licenses
Fluency in Mandarin and English, with Cantonese is an advantage
