Job Title: Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), FP&A Analyst
Job Description: In this role, the Analyst will be an integral member of the BREIT FP&A team. The focus of the team is to produce reporting and strategic thinking of BREIT's financial results for stockholders and senior management, and perform analyses to drive strategic business decisions. The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assist with monthly valuations reporting and search for ways to improve process
Deliver high quality board reporting and analytics
Produce portfolio analysis and presentations for BREIT's management team, including:
Working with the asset management team on real estate performance and valuations
Working with the capital markets team on liabilities performance and strategy
Working with the BREDS liquids team on securities performance and strategy
Execute ad hoc projects, and generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for investors, management team and board
Coordinate with both internal and external teams to deliver efficient reporting and processes to the BREIT team
Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate must have:
BS (or above) in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting with a strong GPA
One to two years of professional experience
Prior work experience in real estate finance or portfolio management, banking/capital markets, and/or financial reporting
Team player with resourceful mindset and efficiency-driven
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, particularly using Excel
Comfortable working with large data sets and the ability to identify data inconsistencies and patterns
Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed materials; strong proficiency in PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
