What is the opportunity? You are responsible for supporting the implementation of projects within their specific Investment Advisor Group program(s) (IAG) and providing analytical support to IAG product management. This includes working with the user groups, IAG Operations, IAG Product Managers, Business Technology Group (BTG), Information Technology (IT), and external vendors to ensure IAG Product initiatives move to completion. What will you do?
Handle production problems by collecting data to determine the appropriate solution to the issue and helping to manage the implementation of the resolution and operate as the main interface between the IAG, Operations, Information Systems technical staff, Broadridge and third party vendors.
Support Product Manager in managing the product line by working closely with product managers to develop implementation plans for program changes and enhancements by gathering relevant data, conducting ad-hoc quantitative analysis of products, define key metrics and serve as a representative for IAG products at forums and meetings.
Work closely with and act as a resource for Product Consultants and other business partners in providing effective support and services to the sales force.
Partner with Product Consulting team to deliver educational campaigns and training programs for Branch Managers, FAs (from interns to experienced) and CAs to help them transition and build wealth management businesses using fee-based solutions.
In Project Manager role - work with the user group to ensure initial business specifications are complete and accurate to the business needs at the time, create a project plan, monitor and facilitate implementation of plan.
Partner with the user group to develop Critical Success Factors to measure the success of the project and work with appropriate staff to create documentation of enhancements or changes made to the systems and communicate those to all business lines impacted by the project changes.
Assist with gathering feedback from key stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
BA/BS in business, finance, math, or related field with 3 - 5 years of securities or financial markets experience and strong understanding of fee-based platforms and Financial Advisor needs.
Excellent organizational skills with a good understanding of technology, operations, sales and marketing and process-driven mindset with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage details in an environment with changing priorities.
Willingness to aggressively learn new skills and adapt to new technologies in a short time period and to continue professional and technical education, by taking online classes, attending workshops, seminars, pursuing professional designations, etc.
Structured problem solving skills to help work through a variety of issues.
Ability to compile and analyze data and communicate that data in order to support decisions and desire to seek out multiple opinions, yet able to make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes.
Experience working with an agile product delivery team.
Basic understanding of SQL and data software such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Advanced contributor with high motivation, ability to take the initiative, set priorities and work on unstructured tasks with minimal guidance.
