Scrum Master/Project-Manager for a Regulatory Change Program. Candidate will be responsible for the delivery of projects and coordinating SDLC activities across multiple business and technical partners in line with business priorities.
This individual will work closely with the Product Control (PC), Financial Accounting (FA), Risk clients, and Change teams to understand requirements and work with business analysts, architecture and development resources to design solutions to meet business needs. He/she will liaise with multiple IT teams to drive forward delivery.
Team management responsibilities involve working with business analyst and other resources and developing strong partnerships with supplier teams to achieve desired outcomes.
This individual prior experience working in financial markets and product knowledge is added advantage.
They must have worked in an Information Technology department.
The Project Management activities include scope confirmation, definition of implementation approach, resource planning, budget and actuals tracking, achievement tracking and business client management.
Maintenance of RAID (Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies) and Action Logs:
Identification and management of risks and issues
Definition of response strategies and mitigation actions
Coordinate IT status reporting for all involved collaborators
Influence and align status reporting activities across multiple groups including IT, Change and Line.
Financials & Budgets
Handle budget/forecast/actuals across the work streams using standard portfolio and project management tools
Ensure consistent reporting of budgets/actuals/forecasts
Maintain traceability & change control around budgets
Alignment of CS solution delivery policies and quality guidelines within standard solution delivery framework
Audit Readiness: Front-run readiness in anticipation of IT audits
Directing project team to ensure deliverable timelines are met
Informing program management of key issues
Outstanding teamwork & leadership skills
Coordinate with IT Teams to schedule and complete the tasks assigned
Partner with business and Operations Partners to be engaged from project inception
University degree education ideally with focus on computer science or project management
2+ years of extensive experience in IT project management
Project Management experience within Information Technology department
Project Management certification is a desirable ( PMI, PRINCE, etc)
Good interpersonal, leadership and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Detailed understanding of project lifecycles
Proven track record of handling large IT projects - budget, scope, quality & risks with globally distributed teams efficiently
Strong content leader with excellent problem solving skills
Able to operate in politically challenging situations
Detailed knowledge of project management tools & systems
Proficient with MS Office and excellent MS Project skills required.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior partners
High degree of flexibility, positive attitude and capability to work with limited supervision.
Any Experience with productivity and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence will be a differentiator.
