The Quantitative Modelling and Analytics (QMA) team is particularly active in two areas : pricing and risk analytics for derivatives trading and electronic trading algorithms. The team is part of TD Securities Technology and has strong links with front office, risk and control functions and other tech teams. We provide in-house developed quant libraries that are incorporated into enterprise risk systems, pricing applications, investment research and trading systems.
We are looking to build an integrated team of quants and application developers to support growth in the Asia Pacific region. As a versatile junior quant you will be a technical contributor to the development and deployment of our analytics. Initially you will cover interest rates and FX with likely expansion to cover electronic trading. Starting from an initial focus on C++, you should be comfortable to acquire additional programming skills as needed. You will equally be happy implementing quantitative calculations as you are doing market data investigations and issue resolution in trading systems.
Skills & Requirements
Advanced degree in computer science, maths, physics, engineering etc.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a derivatives quant
Knowledge of quant finance, derivative pricing and markets
Expert level C++ is mandatory, Java and python are a bonus
Comfortable working with front office users
Strong communication skills
