Our client is a leading Investment Bank in London and a tier 1 project finance advisory bank globally. The bank has an excellent track record across investment banking / M&A and debt and structured finance generally, and their project finance debt advisory team is market leading. You will be involved in all aspects of project finance advisory, focusing on the infrastructure sector.
The role sits within the Infrastructure Project Finance Debt Advisory team, reporting into the Head of Infrastructure Advisory supporting D/MD level colleagues both on advisory mandate execution tasks as well as marketing activities and origination of new business.
Given the advisory nature of the work, there will be a substantial customer facing element to the role attending call and meetings (along with more senior colleagues).
Financial structuring including the preparation of financial models, valuations, handling of general process relating to financial advisory mandate execution as well as preparation of financial advisory pitches.
Working closely with other internal teams including lending, origination, debt capital market team and M&A.
Experience in Project Finance Advisory team will be key.
A strong track record within project finance lending & advisory in a large financial institution or other relevant role in the industry or an advisory firm at Associate / Senior Associate or VP level.
A demonstrable track record of taking a lead role from an execution perspective on project finance transactions.
Strong analytical skills including excel financial modelling.
Relevant sector exposure including infrastructure.
