Lead the Underwriting team with a focus on training, skills development, consistency and quality of decision and service.
Ensure adequate capacity and processes in Underwriting to deliver good service to customers.
Working with the European Compliance Team take responsibility for delivery of Compliance plan in the Amsterdam Office.
Proactively advise on key Compliance themes and issues (e.g. new products and projects), including those identified by Compliance Monitoring and support activities such as the review and approval of marketing and other compliance-related materials originated by the business teams.
Engage investors and provide well prepared updates. Demonstrate that Funding Circle is the best vehicle to finance entrepreneurs in The Netherlands while delivering returns consistent with the risks they take.
Communicate with bureaus and other data providers. Build a data driven organisation using smart analytics. Be accountable for credit infrastructure projects (decision tools, data dictionaries, etc...).
Clear and sympathetic communication and feedback with managers, peers and reports. Be inclusive and engaged.
You have excellent leadership and influencing skills and are a good communicator (verbal and written as well as presentations).
