We are working with a growing placement agent and secondaries advisor. They have a strong track-record raising funds for established names in the mid-market buyout and venture space. On the back of this success, they have ambitious plans to expand the business. They differentiate themselves by developing particularly strong and deep relationships with both GPs and LPs during the placement process, which in-turn leads to repeat and exclusive custom. Their secondaries business helps them to further these relationships as they regularly offer secondary and placement advice to the same clients, which enables them to have a more holistic knowledge of the private equity market. As a firm, they are collegiate, honest, results-driven and take a long-term view. They are now looking to bring on board an experienced distribution professional who speaks Italian. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new relationships with institutional investors, with a focus on the Italian market
Manage the sales process for new and existing clients
Understand a broad range of products and how to articulate these to institutional investors
Fluent in Italian
Demonstrable recent track record raising capital from institutional investors
An understanding or experience in marketing private markets investment products is necessary
To be successful you must demonstrate a structured and consistent sales approach, lots of enthusiasm, dynamism and perseverance
