Supervise a team of AML Compliance officers to perform daily AML/CFT transaction monitoring function
Develop and maintain AML compliance programmes that are in compliance with local AML/CFT legislation as well as rules and regulations issued by the HKMA and relevant authorities
Keep track of changes in local AML/CFT rules and regulations and related corporate policies
Coordinate and implement process changes in Transaction Monitoring Team as a result of regulatory/policy updates
Ensure AML/CFT related information and publications are properly distributed and duly communicated to relevant units
Conduct transaction monitoring and AML/CFT investigations in liaison with external and internal parties
Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulators relating to AML audits/examinations or ad hoc projects
Prepare and submit suspicious transaction reports to JFIU and /or HKMA
Prepare materials for and participate in AML Compliance Committee meetings
Identify areas for improvement in AML/CFT related process/documentation, Information System, transactions monitoring and investigations on an on-going basis
Ensure the team is in compliance with the regulatory requirements as well as the internal compliance policies and guidelines including but not limited to anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism
Degree holder in Law, Accounting or related disciplines
Minimum 8 years in professional or compliance field with at least 2 years control-related experience on AML/CFT and KYC and experience in a sizable financial institution and/or financial industry and/or regulatory bodies
Possess good knowledge on banking operations, products and services
Self-motivated, independent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of both spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
