This role covers corporate counterparties with a focus on China
Conduct in-depth credit research & analysis on counterparties, analyze historical financials and write high quality credit memos
Undertake due diligence visits to counterparties, lead credit conversations and collect credit information
Independently take credit decisions on loan transactions, bond issuances and derivative trades
Analyze structured derivative trades, with the help of credit quant professionals, understand PE (peak exposure) profile of, and prescribe the right credit terms for, those trades.
Prescribe credit terms and financial covenants for legal documents such as ISDA/CSA, GMRA/GMSLA, Facility Agreements etc.
Key Experience & Skills
7+ years in a Rating Agency or a Commercial Bank or an Investment Bank as a credit analyst analyzing Chinese corporate borrowers and counterparties
Energetic and independent
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Have good report writing skills and able to highly articulate in verbal presentations
Good inter-personal skills and be at ease in interacting with the sales personnel
Thorough and an eye for details
Credit analysis experience covering Financial Institutions would be a plus
